Dimo Mitev is a professional with more than 11 years of experience behind his back in the IT industry. He has worked in many local and international companies, such as Quality House Ltd, InterComponentWare AG, Telerik / Progress Software, and others. The roles he has occupied include Test Consultant, QA Engineer, QA Lead, and Team Lead.
While being actively engaged in the software testing process, which is a part of the Software Development Lifecycle he has gained significant experience in different software testing types, including but not limited to functional, web service, performance, security, and automation testing.
Now, for more than 6 years he has been working for Progress Software (ex Telerik Corp) and his current position in the company is a QA Architect, working in the Telerik Platform division.
Dimo is holding all ISTQB Certificates (Foundation and Advanced Level) along with the Brainbench and Scrum Master Certificates and the Certified Mobile Application Professional – Mobile App Testing – Foundation Level Certificate. He is one of the co-founders of the Quality Assurance Course in the Telerik Academy and for more than 5 years, he has been and continues to be in the leading role as a trainer there. He is also actively involved in the development of the training material, its update, and making it plausible to the public.
He has been also involved in delivering ISTQB Courses as a trainer in Quality House Ltd. The courses he is entitled to include are the ones of great interest for the IT professionals in Bulgaria – ISTQB Agile Tester Foundation Course, ISTQB Advanced Level – Technical Test Analyst Course.
His experience also encompasses public lectures in IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysts), Sofia University, ISTF (Italian Software Testing Forum).
He is one of the reviewers of "Learning Software Testing with Test Studio" book.
