Duration

The course duration according to syllabus is 2 days in total. Dates for a public Agile Tester Foundation Course are published regularly on the Quality House website. The course is usually weekend version – Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 till 18:00. We can further discuss and negotiate dates for in-house training.

Location

Quality House is flexible and focuses on the needs of our clients. Public courses are housed in a hall provided by Quality House for the official dates in our Courses Calendar. Our company also organizes private courses for a single client, where both the dates and location are further negotiated. The client can suggest and provide a convenient location suited for their needs.

Accreditation

The ISTQB Agile Tester Foundation Course material is developed in compliance with the syllabus of International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) and is accredited by South East European Testing Board (SEETB).

Brief Introduction

Improve your vertical testing competences with the ISTQB-approved Foundation course dedicated to giving testers the practical training and expertise within the rapid-fire field of agile testing. Quality House teaches you not only agile principles and practices, but how to work in an agile team and adapt your individual testing experience and knowledge to agile testing.

Quality House aims to give you a running start upon course completion. The curriculum has been designed to deliver an in-depth overview into every stage of agile testing: from the early planning stages and practicing relevant test methods and techniques to assisting in test automation and aiding business stakeholders define understandable and testable user stories and acceptance criteria.

You gain insight into the distinct differences between agile and non-agile projects. Subjects here include differences in testing activities, differences in how coding and testing activities are integrated, and the role of independent testing in agile projects.

A key aspect Quality House pays attention to is the status of testing in agile projects. Course takers are taught how to describe the basic set of work products used to communicate the status of testing in an agile project, including test progress and product quality. Along with how to describe the process of evolving tests across multiple iterations and explain why test automation is important to manage regression risk in agile projects.

Disclaimer

To obtain an international ISTQB Certified Agile Tester, certificate recognized around the world, one must take an additional exam. The main requirements to enroll in a Agile Tester Foundation certification exam is to hold a ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level.
Similar to the Foundation Level Certification exam, the Agile Tester Certification exam will comprise of 40 multiple choice questions, with a pass mark of 65% to be completed within 75 minutes.
The exam administration and acquisition of the ISTQB certificates are managed by South East European Testing Board (SEETB), a trusted Quality House partner, resulting in a supplement fee.
The course requires a minimum number of participants. If the required group size is not reached, we will offer you the opportunity to reschedule for alternative dates or cancel if preferred.
