Job Summary

The Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products and processes. The candidates should be based in Sofia. They are responsible for manual and automated testing and managing the defect lifecycle.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis
  
• Estimate test effort
  
• Write logical test cases
  
• Design, implement, and perform manual and automated tests
  
• Assist developers in reproduction and localization of bugs
  
• Manage the bug lifecycle (reporting, tracking, escalation, verification) using bug-tracking tools, ensuring bugs are fixed and documented
  
• Prepare summary reports on the quality of the tested software

Requirements

• At least 1-year experience as a QA engineer or a relative IT position
  
• Good knowledge in QA and the testing process
  
• Strong logical and analytical skills
  
• Knowledge with at least one common Programming Language (C#, Java, JS, Python)
  
• Knowledge of different development platforms and technologies
  
• Computer system knowledge and experience
  
• Basic networking knowledge
  
• Knowledge in relative DB and SQL
  
• Good understanding of the entire software development process
  
• Strong motivation and ability to work without additional supervisory
  
• Capability of learning fast and working under stress in a dynamic environment
  
• Good command of English

Quality House Ltd. is looking to hire a Senior Quality Assurance Engineers experienced both in test automation as well as manual testing . As advantage will be considered experience as a team leader, test manager, etc. The candidates should be based in Sofia.

Job Summary

The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring optimum quality of software products and processes. He would participate in project definition phase, will choose appropriate procedures and will plan and estimate testing efforts. He is responsible for manual and automated testing and for managing defect lifecycle. He would provide quality control at planned milestones to guarantee fault-free delivery. Also, he may be engaged in resources distribution and giving the tasks to the team he is entitled to lead.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis and specification.
  
• Work closely with Business Analysts for this purpose and proactively help them in the technical aspects of the requirements.
  
• Develop test plans and estimate test efforts. Along with that help with risk escalation and management.
  
• Choose appropriate testing methodology and verification procedures to ensure quality.
  
• Prioritize test activities to maximize quality within project constraints.
  
• Provide the team with the information they need and distribute the tasks among the team members
  
• Write logical test cases, review and update of the test cases.
  
• Design, implement, and perform automated and manual test scripts.
  
• Assist developers in the reproduction and localization of bugs.
  
• Manage the bug lifecycle (reporting, tracking, escalation, verification) using bug-tracking tools, ensuring bugs are fixed and documented.
  
• Prepare summary reports on the quality of the tested software.
  
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement of the work process

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in the QA field including at least 1 year in test automation.
  
• Strong understanding of the entire software development process.
  
• Expertise in QA and the testing process.
  
• Expertise in planning and developing tests, writing test cases, preparing automated test scripts.
  
• Software programming skills with at least one common programming language. (Java, C#, Python, JS)
  
• Knowledge of API testing frameworks. (Postman, Insomnia, SoapUI)
  
• Knowledge of tools and frameworks for test automation. (Selenium, Appium, Cypress)
  
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages.
  
• Basic knowledge of different development platforms and technologies.
  
• Strong motivation and ability to work without additional supervisory
  
• Capability of learning fast and working under stress in dynamic environment
  
• Willingness to travel abroad is a plus
  
• Very good command of English
