Below you'll find answers to the questions we get asked the most about our services
Quality House is a client-focused company. What we mean by this is that we strive to build a solid partnership and design a bespoke testing solution around our client’s needs. We work to adapt to your schedule and internal organization as well as create a unique testing process to fit your project. To back this, we’re entirely focused in the field of software testing with a rich portfolio of accredited testing trainings following ISTQB standards and practices. If you choose us, you will hire a well-oiled, experienced and trained machine that’s been on the market for 18 years to help your product reach its full potential.
Quality House swears by the Time & Materials methodology i.e. clients pay only for the real time spent working on the project (leaves of absence and sick days are not invoiced). It’s quite possible to build an entire dedicated team for a client or expand an existing one. Management responsibilities, task assignment and tracking performance levels are all handled by the client. Invoices are issued on a monthly basis, where at the end of each month Quality House sends in a Time Sheet with the man-hours filled for the month. In case you utilize internal systems for reporting and time tracking, our consultants will need additional access.
In short, we offer a custom combination of competitively priced services which in result have you feel confident that your software is being tested on time, on budget, in full compliance with your requirements, and with superior skill.
A pilot project is the best way to go. If you have plans to start in the next 1-2 months [for dedicated team with specific profile], give us a heads-up and send in job descriptions for the project so we can plan operatives in advance. Quality House sends you a Master Service Agreement which is just a framework without any financial arrangements and we also work with NDAs for each client or a personal NDA.
Once we’ve ironed out all details surrounding the partnership, we issue an order receipt with the exact number of hired consultants, the project duration and any other relevant details for transparency sake. Want to extend the project? It’s fine with us and we have the practice to contact our clients a month prior the project deadline to discuss possible extensions. This is crucial as it will give us enough time to relocate resources.

Yes. Quality House seeks outs long-term partnerships with clients as it allows us to acquaint ourselves with your process and product better. We have the resources to undertake projects that well exceed five years.
It’s our job to be! Quality House has worked for global corporations on projects that have gone on for three years and counting, sparing large team, and has loaned a single operative to take over a short, one-week assignment. You also get specialists that have been matched to your product’s specific needs to promote synergy.
As soon as tomorrow! Quality House maintains a bench of around 10% of the staff size for those last-minute, fast-paced, urgent orders – in case you experience an unplanned increase in your work load or are in need of a specialist with a particular expertise. We can change our bench policy and increase the bench if our partnership requires this.
We usually ask new partners and clients to ramp up our collaboration slowly because if you need a big team for less than a week for example, the quality of the service will be subpar. Usually, a 1–2 month notice (depending on the team size) will be fine for us.

Yes, we do, but Quality House has the resources to move the testing entirely offsite where you have an entirely dedicated team along with a team lead working on your projects. We can also offer you a balanced onsite/offsite solution where you have a portion of the team working on your premises with the rest in one of our locations.
Quality House aims for quality and professional delivery, not quantity. To this end, we often recommend our clients to launch a pilot project with 1 to 3 staff members tops and only after we earn each other’s trust, gradually expand the team and our partnership.
Quality House keeps an eye on the growing mobile industry and maintains a contemporary mobile laboratory of Andoid, iOS and Amazon devices, ranging from phones to tablets in both our offices, and can perform mobile testing on real devices.
As the responsibilities will be on your management side, we could not give guarantees on the performance. In QH history, we’ve never experienced dissatisfaction with our performance, but if someone doesn’t fit in the team, we take responsibility to swiftly provide a replacement.
With all the facilities at our disposal, we’ve the opportunity to host video conference meetings between our clients and the consultants assigned on their projects. Moreover, you have access to all test documentation created and constantly updated. We can submit time tracking reports, task reports or other reports on a regular basis depending on your needs and established way of work. You can also suggest ways to monitor the process to make yourself feel confident. The best way to foster team cooperation is to meet face to face and what better way than a quick business trip to your company’s location.
The answer to this question mainly depends on the exact time zone we’re talking about. We usually try to be as flexible as possible and to adjust our working time to the client’s location. Since in Europe the time difference is only 1–2 hours, it’s easy for us to provide excellent QA coverage for countries all over the continent.
As we said, Quality House works for the client and as such, it’s up to you how to structure the team according to your exact needs. From our experience so far, successful offsite projects are those with a Test Manager from your side and a team lead from ours to micromanage. If you choose, your Test Manager will fulfill the micromanagement function, but we recommend at least a point of contact who will be in direct communication with the manager on your side in order to make it easier to manage 5 or more people in the most efficient way. This point of contact will be responsible for the administrative work (vacations, timesheets and reports), handling the team, purchasing hardware, taking care of the newcomers in the team and other operational issues, while your Test Manager has a direct overview of the project’s goals and progress.
As most applications we test are on either web or mobile, we don’t hold data in our office and have only remote access to clients’ devices and test environment. Our own server area comes with limited access available to authorized personnel. Every client receives a domain unique only to them. The network is physically divided with the client to eliminate entry points. For additional security measures, we can adapt to any security protocol or procedure you send us in advance. This, of course, concerns itself when testing is performed offsite, a field in which we have superior expertise.
This depends on whether the project is performed onsite (your office) or offsite (our office facilities). For offsite projects, we provide the necessary computers adjusted to the project’s requirements. For onsite projects, Quality House recommends clients to provide computers as additional security measures.
Automation has become integral to comprehensive, quality testing and Quality House has become proficient in the finer processes of automation. We have experience working with several tools for test automation and can easily adapt to your preferences in tool choice, if there is a tool you rely on most. Most our big clients we’re in partnership with have developed internal tools to meet specific needs and our specialists have learned their intricacies. Indecisive about the best automation tool for your project? We provide a detailed consultation complete with research and advice on its proper integration in your work process.
